STATEMENT OF BELIEFS
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible, as it was originally given, is the inspired Word and Will of God, written by holy men who were given the revelation by God. The Bible in its original manuscripts is without error and inherently accurate. and when rightly understood, is man's one and final authority for faith and practice.
GOD
We believe in one true God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and also the Father of all who become the children of God by believing in Jesus Christ. God is spirit, and desires to be worshiped in spirit and in truth. His true nature is love and in Him is no darkness.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit in the virgin Mary. He came to make known God and to redeem mankind, was without sin and gave his life as a payment on the cross, he died, was buried, and was raised on the third day, ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God. He will return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to establish His Kingdom on earth with His Bride.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that God is "the Holy Spirit". And that He gives to each and every believer in Jesus Christ His gift of "holy spirit", which is power from on high. It enables us to walk in God's power and to be guided by his spirit.
We believe in the operation of the manifestations of holy spirit which is available for each believer to operate in their lives.
SALVATION
Man is not saved by his own works or merit but by the perfect work of Jesus Christ. To receive salvation is to believe in The Lord Jesus, a one time event as depicted in Acts 16:29-31-The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved-you and your household."
LIFE, DEATH and RESURRECTION
We believe that at the time of Christ's coming, the dead in Christ shall be made alive and those who remain shall be changed and will meet The Lord in the air. We shall all be judged by Jesus Christ for our "good and bad works"
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
Jesus Christ will return back to earth and reign for a 1,000 year period with His Bride, those who have been chosen out of the body to reign with Him for that age. After which the whole family of God is ushered into the ages of the ages, often referred to as eternal life, in the Third Heaven and earth.
